What is Awana?
For over six decades, the Lord has used the ministry of Awana to reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world. The unchanging truth of the gospel drives the same vision we’ve held all these years to reach children in every corner of the globe as we walk boldly into the future and continue to be used by God to help change the world.
Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed
(2 Timothy 2:15)- Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
Our AWANA Program runs Sunday evenings, 5-6:30pm.
How Does My Child Get Started?
Early Enrollment for 2025-2026 is going on until May 31st, 2025. Enrollment in AWANAS is always possible. Please register your child for AWANA 2025-2026 year by August 1, 2025. Children must be three by September 1st and potty trained. We have groups through 6th grade.
Please note that uniforms are an important component of the AWANA ministry. They encourage an orderly and disciplined club, reinforce the sense of community and provide a place to display achievement awards.
The cost of attending our club are as follows:
This covers the cost of one book, uniform and awards. Children will receive an entrance booklet on the first night. After attending two weeks and completing their entrance booklet, students will be awarded their handbook and uniform. Volunteering is required once a month; however, we understand some families are unable. A $50 volunteer buyout per clubber is available for parents/sponsors that are unable to volunteer. After enrolling, you can pay online, please click on the link below “Pay Here”. Select “One-Time” and the fund “Awana”.
If a handbook, uniform or awards are lost, the replacement must be paid for in advance.

Handbook Time
Leaders listen to clubbers recite verses that they have memorized. They also work one-on-one with clubbers to help them complete their handbooks.
Game Time
AWANA specific games feature fun activities they won’t find anywhere else. Although games are competitive in nature, emphasis is placed on developing team spirit, good sportsmanship and self- confidence.
Group Time
The goal of Large Group Time is to focus clubbers’ attention on Bible truths and relate them to daily life. The Bible message will encourage unsaved clubbers to accept Christ as Savior and saved clubbers to grow in their relationship with Christ. Clubbers are recognized for their hard work with awards that are to be worn on their AWANA uniforms.
Security and Check-In/Check-Out Policy
Child safety is important to Faith Baptist Church. All leaders and volunteers are required to participate in Child Protection Training to assure the safety of each and every child.
Parents/Guardians or authorized persons must enter the building with the clubber. Do not send your child in alone. To ensure that this is being done, you will now need to sign your child in at AWANA each night at the front desk. Clubbers will not allowed to leave the building at the end of the night without a parent. Please understand that while this may be inconvenient it is to protect YOUR child as well as every other clubber at AWANA.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK IN YOUR CHILD EACH NIGHT! SAFETY FIRST!
Please be considerate of the workers and pick up your child by 6:30 PM
