What kind of people will I find?
First Baptist Church members come from all walks of life. We are a very diverse family of believers and we celebrate that God has brought each of together to serve Him! Wherever you are in life, whatever your background, whatever your struggles, we're here to support you in taking the next step in your relationship with God. We are here to serve God and each other. Just as Jesus told us to, "come unto Him." We invite you to meet our diverse group of worshipers, you will feel right at home.
What does a typical worship service look like?
Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. and usually ends about noon. We start it off with a time of blended worship music along with our praise team. Our pastor then brings a relevant message and teaches us directly from God's word the truths we need for our daily lives. We use the last few minutes of our service as a time of invitation and prayer.
What is available for my children?
Our Sunday morning services start at 9:15 a.m. with Sunday school classes for all age groups. We also have a special children's church for the younger kids during regular worship time, where they get to experience a kid-sized worship service just for them.
On Sunday evenings, we offer AWANA at 5 p.m. for the kids.
On Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. we host Bible studies and children’s activities.
Location and parking
We are centrally located on Gattis School Road and have easy access to our facility from the street. Parking is abundant and is located on all three sides of our main auditorium.
